A New Chapter in Ageing: National Forum Comes to Melbourne
For the first time in its eight‑year history, the National Roundtable's International Care Experienced History Month event will be held in Melbourne, bringing together those with lived experience, advocates, researchers, service providers, and policymakers for a powerful day of learning, listening, and action.
This year’s theme, A New Chapter in Ageing: Listening to Forgotten Australians and Care Leavers, places the voices and experiences of Forgotten Australians at the centre. The forum will explore the unique challenges faced in aged and community care, and work toward meaningful, forward‑thinking solutions that improve access, quality of care, and long‑term wellbeing.
More than just an event, this forum is an opportunity to contribute to shaping policy and services that truly reflect the needs of a community whose voices must continue to be heard.
Forgotten Australians/Care Leavers are encouraged to contact the Roundtable Team directly on admin@forgottenaustraliansroundtable.com.au if they would like to attend.
